Field Trip Fun

Our field trip to the Library and Farmer's Market went really well! We walked on the trail to the Library  check 2 books out and then we walked to the market where the kids practiced how to be a consumer and had to make some choices. The kids did AMAZING! I was so proud of them.

Super Hero's and Pixy dust!

We have been having some fun in our classroom this week. Yesterday we finished up or Synthesis unit by becoming synthesis super hero's. They were awesome! They loved it so much and they are really good at synthesizing!

We also practiced our words in pixy stick dust on the table! They loved it. 

And I had two boys in by room who wanted to wear their capes ALL day. LOVE IT!

Sammi had her birthday celebration today! She and her parents and grandparents passed out cupcakes to the class. They will be going back to China in July. Sammi hopes to stay in contact with our classmates, so if you want her to email you send a little note. =) We will definitely miss her at our school next year!

I'm back!!!!

Thank you for allowing me to stay home with my babies. Although I missed your babies, the time I was at home was amazing! Here are some pics of a few things we have been working on. Enjoy!

We created plants with some carrots, celery, sunflower seeds, and pb. 

 

 We also recently finished Natural Resources. We were REUSING our trash and creating recycled art! Though it was REALLY, REALLY messy you all had some AMAZING art come home. =) I really was extremely excited with the creativeness.

 We have been practicing some antonyms and synonyms, yah!We made some "synonym rolls" They had to match some synonyms and then create their own. They also wore some awesome chef hats while we made some real cinnamon rolls!
